My intention for this section is to contain my musings about all things psychology-related.
I don’t believe in, or practice from, the Freudian viewpoint that therapists are blank slates.
I am a human who brings her humanness into the therapeutic relationship and therapy process.
I am also a human on her own journey figuring this thing called life out—and how to be more present, congruent, authentic, embodied, compassionate, and vulnerable yet courageous.
I hope to share resources here and how I personally interact with them for myself and to share more personal reflections on certain psychological theories or concepts.
If you are a current client, I hope you feel more connected to me but also feel like you can ask me any questions and engage me on this.
If you are a passerby on the internet—or an old friend, stranger, or acquaintance—who just happened to come across my website, thank you for reading thus far. I wish you well.
Love,
Anthea
